Class Cancellations: If classes are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (weather & emergences); there will be an announcement on the voicemail (910) 842-2100 and an email sent to those who have supplied such information, as well as a posted sign on the door.
Substitute Teachers: Island Yoga reserves the right to allow teachers to find appropriate substitute teachers to replace them in class if needed.
Classes Start on Time: Please arrive for your class on time, perhaps a few minutes early to allow yourself to prep and relax for the session.
Register for Classes: Upon arriving, check in and sign up for the class you will be participating in. This helps us maintain class attendance and class cards.
Physical Limitations/Injuries: Inform your teacher prior to class about any physical problems or medical conditions.
Open level classes: We invite all levels to attend any class. Remember to have fun and let go of competition.
Acquire and use your own Yoga/Pilates Mat. Island Yoga provides mats for a $1.00 rental fee.
Workshop Registration: We recommend early registration for all our workshops. If cancellation is necessary, please submit a cancellation request within 72 hours before the beginning of the event. Upon which a refund of less than a 15% administrative fee will be received or the workshop fee can be transferred to other workshops.
Refunds: Island Yoga does not offer refunds on sessions or series classes. The sessions, series classes, workshops are non-transferable to other students.
Referral Benefit program is our way of thanking you for your support. If you are currently a class card holder and you bring in a newcomer who buys a class card on their first visit, you will get a FREE mat class added to your class card.
Class Card Policy: each class card is void after three months. Class card extensions are issued due to illness or injury. If ones illness or injury lasts longer than one month, we can issue a freeze on the card and it will be made available upon your return. Class cards are again non-transferable to other students or series classes. A class card holder may put an out of town guest on their class card once.
